My name is Mara Jade Koenig. I’m an actor, comedian, singer, and writer based in New York. Currently, I am a third-year Drama student at NYU, having studied at New Studio on Broadway, and Atlantic Acting School.

I’m originally from Baltimore, the great American city of love, so I’m an East Coast girl through and through. After moving to Virginia, I started doing theatre with a Christian youth performing arts group, dispite being raised by new-age agnostic Gen X-ers.

My first role was as a guard in Aladdin Jr. which was both age and culturally inaccurate because I was 7 and am Polish. Ahh… humble beginnings.

I continued doing theatre in the DMV, and found a love for scriptwriting and comedy. I’ve written sketches with my dear friend and writing partner, Mallory McNee. We love writing about and for the prudes and the perverts of the world.

Additionally, I’ve been working with a group of other artists on developing a Christopher Guest-style film.
